The Graduate
I watched this film last week I think, it was not what I expected at all, was such a brilliant film though. The acting from Dustin Hoffman was particularly superb. I found the story to be so sad for him, he is such a naive kid I feel and a sensitive soul. After he graduates he feels like he has no purpose, he is so unsure of what to do next, and there are all these expectations from his parents. It seems as if he is trying to please everybody when he would rather just sit back in the shadows; but it seems in the end that love conquers all and I suppose in the end that that is really all that matters..
The music of course is classic: Simon and Garfunkel whats not to love?
